Challenge
Schneider’s Landscape wanted to bring in more leads for retaining walls, so we went over some options. The challenge was that this client didn’t want to invest money in local SEO, they wanted quick wins and new business now.
Client Goals:
- Get more leads in a specific location
- Make sure the leads we qualified
- Convert when leads come to the landing page

Solution
We decided that the client’s money was best spent on a landing page and using Google Ads to drive users who are looking to hire a company to build a new retaining wall for their home.
We built a landing page on their site to better convert visitors. We wanted to make sure that we had:
- Contact form and phone number above the scroll
- We wanted the content to be relevant to the keywords we were optimizing for
- We added images of their retaining wall work
- We including some information about their company
- A quick paragraph about the owner
- A fast loading page that was mobile optimized
- Google reviews integrated via widget
Outcome
The landing page and ads campaign was a huge success! We averaged nine leads and two sales a month from mid-May to mid-September 2022. You can see more specifics from the image on the left.
We optimized the campaign, added negatives, did some a/b testing to ensure success.
We used Google Tag Manager and WhatConverts to track both phone calls and form submissions. These tools gave us more data to optimize our campaign.
We continue to work with Schneider’s every summer as it’s the best for the owner, Jake, to generate high quality, retaining wall leads.
