
Challenge
This client had switched their site from WordPress to Shopify at the end of 2021. This change resulted in huge keyword ranking and traffic loss. They hired us mid 2022 to add some stability and bring the traffic back.
Client Goals:

Solution
The project required us to review the traffic and rankings prior to launching the new site. In addition, we created content and built links to assist in our efforts.
- We audited all of the URL’s from the old website
- We identified their traffic and links pointing to these pages
- In some cases, we had to do 301 redirects or rebuild the page, then add new internal links as needed
- By implementing 301 redirects, the website can retain its search engine rankings and ensure that users are directed to the correct content, ultimately helping to maintain and potentially increase traffic to the site
- We did a full audit and improved all technical SEO aspects of the site
- We created about 75+ pieces of new content
- We built 40+ links to their website
Outcome
Organic traffic went from around 300 unique visits a month to almost 3,000 visits a month today.
Keywords the site ranks for went from a few hundred to over 5,000 by the end of 2022.
