As an agency, we wanted to try to rank a new affiliate site quickly.
Our Goals:
- Bring in more than 1,000 unique visitors within a month of launch
- Rank for hundreds of keywords within a month
Solution
Here is what we did:
- We chose a low competitive niche that included many keywords to optimize for
- We selected a keyword rich domain and used WP Engine for hosting the site
- Create SEO friendly product and comparison category pages
- We optimized pages to target our core keywords
- We built some backlinks to grow the domain authority
- We added Google Analytics and Search Console to track
Outcome
As you see in the images, the site ranked and brought in traffic right away. By the end of the year, we were getting over 3,500 unique visits a month as the third image shows.
